This is the last 1/12 scale car released by Delta. Very beautiful and one of our favorites.

New addition to the “1/12 cars” section.

Finally we are able showing the rare Mirage T car which was released by AB Slotcar company in Sweden. This is the successor to the older Mirage 12, which was introduced to Classic RC in December 2016.
Additional note, drawing for the Mirage T says 1980 but from what we found this car was not released before 1981.

We updated some of our pages through the last weeks and months with adding of hyperlinks.
Pages related to buttons at the dropdown menu for scale of cars will show a list of companies and cars now, where hyperlinks will direct to cars or objects.
Cars seen without hyperlinks at that list will be shown later or might be current projects at our workshop
. Similar also for electronic stuff.
More pages will be updated at some point but hyperlinks are included now at any new page.
Hyperlinks will be found usually at bold characters which are shown in black or red color.

Also a new manufacturer which is well known for their 1/8 scale gas cars, but they started with electric cars.

We are very proud showing a prototype replica for the Parma Euro Panther 1/12 scale.
Chris Arnold, who designed this car, provided a very special chassis and some other original prototype parts so this project could start.

Great addition to the “1/12 cars” section.
We got a very special and quite early European car, the Slotcar Mirage 12 made in Sweden! After a careful restoring process, this car is on show now. We are very proud of this car as it´s the more or less unknown forefather of the Mirage-T, a quite succesful car in the early 1980s.

Another offroad car at Classic RC.
We´re proud to introduce the famous Schumacher CAT XLS, one of the CAT series offroad cars which won the very first World Champion title for Masami Hirosaki in 1987.

This was the first ESC to introduce very high switching frequency.

The first Novak product ever and one of the first high-speed servos.

Some days ago we promised showing a very special transmitter. OK, here we go.
Simprop Car Profi, introduced in 1982. This was the first stick type transmitter with lots of additional controls not found at any other radio before. A lot of European top drivers went with this radio around that timeframe.

A new addition to our vintage “Servos” section, the Simprop Contest Servo.
A very popular servo for aircraft models but also used at vintage 1/8 scale cars.

We have to apologize for slow updates, but because of family affairs we had to reduce work at the museum at some point. But we still try to add new samples to the museum whenever possible.
As you maybe imagine this is not just making pictures but a lot of work goes into each car, body or electronic unit before introducing to the museum. Thanks for patience and visiting Classic RC.

First photo is showing the factory area of Bolink with building and tracks back in 1983.

If you have vintage photos of the 1960’s, 1970’s or 1980’s showing race action, pits, cars with or without body, drivers or mechanics etc. please contact us.
We like showing such photos for bringing back memories of the good, old days.

Update for the Delta Phaser at the “1/12” section.
Final pictures now after completing the project. Temporary parts were replaced, also correct wheels were used now. If you wonder why we didn´t use Delta 1/12 wheels, we try to show period correct parts and accessory. The Phaser was introduced in 1979, the Delta 1/12 wheels several years later.

After a summer break we´re back with some exciting new projects. Several new additions will be posted in the next weeks and months. Thanks to a member of the Parma Team UK of the 1980s we will be able showing more of this manufacturer.

If RaceCo rings a bell, this will be another addition. More projects for other manufacturers are in the works but need some time.

Introducing another new section at Classic RC,“vintage bodies 1/18th scale” at “Other” area. We are showing a group picture of early 1/18 bodies now, all of them being more than 30 years old. More pictures and information will be shown in the next days, also the first 1/18 car hidden by one of the bodies.

Andy´s Sauber Mercedes, first generation version intended for using an additional wing.

PB Sizzler Cavan, introduced in 1989 with the PB Sizzler car. This body got a paint job far from being perfect but we think we should show this body because it´s very rare.

This is
“Championship cars” where we will show all sort of cars, used for winning Worlds, Euros or Nationals titles or used at an A-Main of those events. First car is the fantastic Associated RC12i of Kent Clausen, winning the very first 1/12 World Championships Stock Class in 1982.

As preview for the new year, we have some interesting cars in the works as another prototype car, new cars as Delta, Corally, Kyosho and Phantom and some other we want keeping secret for the moment. We also hope being able finishing some cars what still are waiting at the workshop because of missing parts.
One of the first additions will be a Special, the beginnings and history of electronic speed controls.

This was the very first 1/12th scale car, introduced in 1972 as gas car. Later someone converted his Jerobee car using motor and battery from electric tools, this was the birth of 1/12th electric racing. We don´t have a Jerobee McLaren MK8B in our collection but had the unexpected chance for making pictures at a hobbyshop some days ago.

New electronic devices added today. Novak M1c at “ESC” section and very old Futaba FP-R2F at “receiver” section. Also additional pictures for the Tekin 850 charger. There had been 2 different versions for the frontplate design of the first Tekin charger, we are showing both versions now.

New section
“vintage bodies 1/10th scale” showing a very rare Mazda Group C body. This body isn´t 100% perfect after use and 20 years of storage but we think still worth of showing as being something different than other vintage bodies. We are not sure of brand but think made by Parma or Bolink. If someone knows the manufacturer please contact us.

We will postpone the new 1/12th car we wanted showing now. As the very first car of this brand arrived at our workshop we will show these cars according to their timeline order.

Today we are releasing our Classic RC project to the public. We have to apologize for being still under construction at some areas but some people who knew about the project didn´t wanted waiting any longer and “forced” us going online now. Thanks for supporting us in the building process before.

For the moment you will find most finished content at the Motor and ESC sections. A lot of our cars are still in rebuilding or completing process at the workshop because of missing parts so we can´t show final pictures. For some of them you will find pictures of current state after arrival at the workshop. Quick access to the workshop at the front page.
