The Futaba FP-R2F is a 2 channel AM receiver introduced around 1976, looking very close to the older FP-R2E. The light brown colour was typical for early Futaba RC devices as servos, receivers and transmitters. Later Futaba sold also black coloured units, including the FP-R2F.
This was the first generation of Futaba receivers using an integrated circuit (IC), but still a lot of conventional electronic components were used as you can see from the picture. The same basic receiver was used also for making other units with additional number of channels for aircraft use, at the picture you can see a small cover at the position for additional sockets.
