Peak Performance 18 Double

This is a Peak Performance 18 Double motor based on a Yokomo Wet Mag teardown. Motors using a yellow sticker like this were early generation motors. Later different style stickers were used.

Peak Performance was founded in 1986 by Rick Howart. In the beginning accessory as traction compound was sold, one year later Peak Performance were releasing also motors. In the beginning Kyosho teardowns were used, after that switch to Yokomo teardowns.

Rick Howart was working one year for famous Big Jim Greenemeyer of Team Checkpoint before, so he knew how to make fast motors.
